Porque hoje é Sexta-feira 13, trago-vos um poema inédito que já tinha
partilhado com os meus seguidores das redes sociais no dia 31 de outubro de
2025. Como ambas as datas estão intrinsecamente relacionadas com a figura da
Bruxa, creio que a leitura deste poema de empoderamento se adequa
perfeitamente.
Bruxas
Somos Nós
Bruxas,
sim, porque sabemos
Que
em cada olhar esconde-se o universo,
E
no toque das mãos, o fogo desperto
Que
só arde se o calor for mútuo.
Sábias
somos, pela estrada percorrida,
Cada
curva marcada pela história,
Cada
erro um feitiço aprendido,
Cada
queda, o primeiro passo para a vitória.
Somos
bruxas, porque amamos intensamente,
Mas
só quando o amor é o espelho
Daquilo
que trazemos dentro,
Da
força que floresce quando somos respeitadas.
Não
pedimos licença para ser,
Exigimos
o espaço onde nossos pés pisam,
Porque
quem não vê o poder que habita
Em
cada riso, em cada lágrima,
Já
está amaldiçoado,
Perdido
no próprio labirinto da ignorância.
Bruxas,
sim, porque podemos tudo,
Tecer
o destino com fios invisíveis,
Construir
pontes com palavras,
E
derrubar muralhas com silêncios.
O
chapéu de bruxa? Um símbolo apenas,
Porque
o verdadeiro poder está no espírito,
No
fogo que carregamos nos olhos,
E
que nunca se apaga.

EN: Hello! Because
today is Friday the 13th, I bring you an unpublished poem that I had
previously shared with my social media followers on October 31, 2025. Since
both dates are intrinsically related to the figure of the Witch, I believe the
reading of this poem of empowerment is highly appropriate.
We Are Witches
Witches, yes, because we know
That in every gaze the universe hides,
And in the touch of hands, the awakened fire
That only burns if the warmth is mutual.
Wise we are, by the road we've traveled,
Each curve marked by history,
Each mistake a spell learned,
Each fall, the first step towards victory.
We are witches, because we love intensely,
But only when love is the mirror
Of what we carry within,
Of the strength that flourishes when we are
respected.
We don't ask permission to be,
We demand the space where our feet tread,
Because whoever fails to see the power that dwells
In every laugh, in every tear,
Is already cursed,
Lost in the labyrinth of their own ignorance.
Witches, yes, because we can do anything, Weave
destiny with invisible threads,
Build bridges with words,
And knock down walls with silence.
The witch's hat? Just a symbol,
Because the true power lies in the spirit,
In the fire we carry in our eyes,
And which never goes out.

PT: No dia 31 de
outubro de 2025, por motivos de saúde, não pude atender ao evento dinamizado
por Marina Ferraz, “Arte e Poesia entram num bar” no EDM Café. Este é um
dos eventos que habitualmente atendo. Manifestei a minha tristeza por não poder
ir, e a minha amiga Vanessa Oliveira prontamente voluntariou-se para ler
um poema por mim. Enviei-lhe o poema que teria lido se estivesse presente. Ela
enviou-me um vídeo, e daí surgiu a ideia desta partilha.
EN: On October 31, 2025, due to health reasons, I was unable to attend the event organized by Marina Ferraz, "Art and Poetry Enter a Bar," at EDM Café. This is an event I usually attend. When I expressed my sadness at not being able to go, my friend Vanessa Oliveira promptly volunteered to read a poem for me. I sent her the poem I would have read if I had been there. She sent me a video, and that's how the idea for this sharing came about.
