PT: Olá! Que bom ter-te aqui hoje, num dia extraordinariamente especial. 🌿 O Dia Internacional do Livro Infantil merece ser celebrado com histórias que nos inspiram, nos resgatam e nos fazem sonhar. É por isso que hoje te apresento novamente o meu primeiro livro publicado: Animais Poéticos.

Este não é apenas um livro. É um pedaço de mim, um sonho transformado em palavras, um abraço de poesia para o mundo. É um livro que criei para o filho que nunca tive, mas que sempre imaginei nos meus pensamentos mais ternos e nas minhas noites mais silenciosas.

It is so good to have you here today, on an extraordinarily special day. 🌿 International Children's Book Day deserves to be celebrated with stories that inspire us, rescue us, and make us dream. That is why today I present to you once again my very first published book: "AnimaisPoéticos" ("Poetic Animals").

This is not just a book. It is a piece of me, a dream transformed into words, an embrace of poetry for the world. It is a book I created for the child I never had, but whom I always imagined in my tenderest thoughts and my quietest nights.

🐾 Janelas para a Inocência / Windows to Innocence

PT: Quando escrevi o Animais Poéticos, imaginei os olhos curiosos de uma criança a descobrirem os versos, as ilustrações e o mundo que construí página a página. Pensei no riso que ecoaria ao ouvir os poemas sobre um carneiro traquina que pula a cerca ou um enfermeiro canino. Pensei na ligação profunda entre pais e filhos, avós e netos, professores e alunos, partilhando afetos ao redor de uma leitura.

Cada poema é uma janela para a magia dos animais, mas também para a inocência da infância. Além disso, este é um projeto solidário, que nasceu da vontade de criar algo maior do que eu mesma — algo que não só encantasse, mas que também ajudasse. Os lucros dos direitos de autor deste livro revertem a favor da Associação Acreditar, uma causa que me toca profundamente por apoiar crianças e famílias em momentos tão difíceis.

EN: When I wrote "Animais Poéticos", I imagined the curious eyes of a child discovering the verses, the illustrations, and the world I built page by page. I thought of the laughter that would echo upon hearing verses about a mischievous sheep jumping over the fence or a canine nurse. I thought of the deep connection between parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, teachers and students, sharing affection around a story.

Each poem is a window into the magic of animals, but also into the innocence of childhood. Furthermore, this is a charity project born from the desire to create something greater than myself — something that would not only enchant but also help. The royalties from this book go entirely to the Associação Acreditar, a cause that deeply touches my heart for supporting children and families through such difficult times.

💧 O Pequeno Universo nas Mãos / The Small Universe in My Hands

PT: Lembro-me perfeitamente do dia em que o vi impresso pela primeira vez. Segurei aquele pequeno universo nas mãos e chorei. Não eram apenas páginas; era um sonho tornado realidade. Hoje, ao celebrar este dia dedicado aos livros infantis, convido-te a partilhar deste sonho comigo. Porque os livros têm o poder real de mudar vidas, de plantar sementes em corações pequeninos e, talvez, as palavras de Animais Poéticos possam tocar também o teu coração.
