PT: Olá! Que bom ter-te por cá para este momento de quietude. 🌿

Às vezes, a vida corre tão depressa que nos esquecemos de habitar o próprio corpo. O ruído do mundo exterior invade-nos e a cabeça enche-se de prazos, expectativas e pressas. Foi num desses dias, em que senti o peito apertado e uma necessidade urgente de resgatar o meu próprio centro, que nasceu este poema inédito: "Inspira Expira".

Hoje, partilho contigo algo que vai muito mais além das palavras escritas numa folha de papel: partilho um pedaço do meu próprio fôlego, declamado diretamente com o coração e despido de qualquer artifício.

Sometimes, life moves so fast that we forget to inhabit our own bodies. The noise of the outside world invades us, and our minds fill with deadlines, expectations, and haste. It was on one of those days, when I felt a tightness in my chest and an urgent need to reclaim my own center, that this unpublished poem was born: "Breath in...Breath out".

Today, I share with you something that goes far beyond written words on a piece of paper: I share a piece of my own breath, spoken directly from the heart and stripped of any pretense.

 A Arte de Simplesmente Ser / The Art of Simply Being

PT: "Inspira Expira" nasceu da necessidade de parar, de fechar os olhos e de voltar ao presente. Agora, este texto ganhou uma nova vida. Vive em som e em imagem, com uma música de fundo delicada, pensada para te acompanhar num momento que é só teu.

Quero convidar-te a escutar com calma. Sem pressa para que acabe, sem agendas. Desliga o ruído lá fora por uns minutos e deixa simplesmente que a tua respiração acompanhe cada verso, cada pausa, cada silêncio. Porque, no fundo, às vezes o que mais precisamos... é simplesmente de respirar.

EN: "Inhale Exhale" was born from the need to stop, close our eyes, and return to the present. Now, this piece has gained a new life. It lives in sound and imagery, with a delicate background track designed to accompany you in a moment that is entirely yours.

I want to invite you to listen calmly. Without rushing for it to end, with no agenda. Turn off the noise outside for a few minutes and simply let your breathing match each verse, each pause, each silence. Because, in the end, sometimes what we need most... is simply to breathe.

🎙️ A Poesia que Ganha Asas no Éter / Poetry Taking Wing on the Airwaves

PT: Olá! Que bom ter-te por cá para partilhar contigo um momento que me fez vibrar a alma de uma forma muito especial. 🌿

Hoje, trocamos a nossa habitual hora mágica das 13h13 por um horário igualmente especial: o meio-dia. E o motivo enche-me o coração de uma alegria tímida, mas profunda. Esta manhã, a minha voz e os meus versos fizeram-se presentes no maravilhoso programa "Já Leste um Poema Hoje?", um espaço de sensibilidade rara conduzido pela querida Maria do Rosário Freixo.

Embora o programa estivesse inicialmente previsto para ir para o ar em maio, a emissão oficial aconteceu no dia 4 de junho de 2025. E é precisamente essa gravação, carregada de verdade e de afetos, que hoje partilho e disponibilizo aqui no nosso blogue, no aconchego deste nosso espaço.

Today, we trade our usual magic hour of 1:13 PM for an equally special time: noon. And the reason fills my heart with a shy but deep joy. This morning, my voice and my verses were present in the wonderful program "Have You Read a Poem Today?", a space of rare sensitivity hosted by the dear Maria do Rosário Freixo.

Although the program was initially scheduled to air in May, the official broadcast took place on June 4th, 2025. And it is precisely this recording, loaded with truth and affection, that I share and make available today here on our blog, in the warmth of our space.

Our interview was recorded beforehand, but hearing my own words echoing on the airwaves, in a place where literature is treated with such affection and respect, was one of the most beautiful experiences of my journey. Feeling that my poems left the paper to float through the air and enter so many homes and cars was, for me, a luminous way of looking at life.

🕯️ Os Bastidores do Sentir / Behind the Scenes of Feeling

PT: Olá! Que bom ter-te aqui para olharmos juntos pelo espelho retrovisor destes últimos meses. 🌿

Quero fazer-te uma confissão. Desde o início de 2025, tenho-me permitido mergulhar de cabeça no mundo da poesia e dos encontros literários. Nem sempre é fácil expor o que escrevemos; há sempre um instante de hesitação, um frio na barriga antes de partilhar a nossa verdade com o mundo. Mas nestes primeiros meses do ano, venci esse receio e participei em 10 eventos extraordinários, organizados por amigos e colegas poetas, em diversos espaços que respiram cultura, afeto e amizade.

Cada encontro foi uma oportunidade única de partilha, de aprendizagem e de reforço de laços com a comunidade poética que tanto estimo. Entre sessões de poesia intimistas, tertúlias descontraídas e momentos de pura celebração da palavra, este percurso tem sido feito de emoções fortes, sorrisos sinceros e muitas páginas de inspiração que guardo na alma.

I want to make a confession. Since the beginning of 2025, I have allowed myself to dive headfirst into the world of poetry and literary encounters. It isn’t always easy to expose what we write; there is always a moment of hesitation, a flutter in the stomach before sharing our truth with the world. But in these first months of the year, I overcame that fear and participated in 10 extraordinary events, organized by friends and fellow poets, in various spaces that breathe culture, affection, and friendship.

Each encounter was a unique opportunity for sharing, learning, and strengthening bonds with the poetic community that I treasure so much. Between intimate poetry sessions, relaxed gatherings, and moments of pure celebration of the word, this journey has been made of strong emotions, sincere smiles, and many pages of inspiration that I keep in my soul.

✨ Viver para Escrever / Living to Write

PT: Se queres mesmo saber o que vai no meu peito, este tem sido também um ano avassaladoramente criativo. Tenho andado profundamente empenhada na escrita, quase a um ponto de rutura — a viver intensamente para escrever, a transformar em palavras despidas tudo aquilo que sinto, vejo e sonho. A escrita tornou-se, mais do que nunca, a minha forma de estar na vida.

Para te trazer comigo nesta viagem e mostrar-te um pouco desta alma que se entrega aos palcos, reuni uma galeria de fotografias e os registos destes encontros.

EN: If you really want to know what is in my heart, this has also been an overwhelmingly creative year. I have been deeply committed to writing, almost to a breaking point — living intensely to write, transforming everything I feel, see, and dream into bare words. Writing has become, more than ever, my way of being in life.
