lembra uma realidade mais dura: a de que nem todos têm o mesmo conforto ou
refúgio nesta altura do ano.

The snow falls, white and serene,
the cold outside sings a refrain,
while home, bathed in such gentle light,
envelops us in warm protection.
Soft slippers warm our feet,
a steaming cup in our hands,
and the world outside, with all its troubles,
seems far from our concerns.
But in this peace that comforts us so,
there are voices the wind cannot silence.
They are lives lost, without a crumb,
in war, in the cold, where pain takes hold.
What a privilege it is to have shelter,
a roof, warmth, a little bread.
May we be grateful for what we have,
and extend our compassion to others.
Because winter is not the same for everyone,
there are those who struggle to survive on so little,
while we, in our comfort,
can still give thanks and love
