Today is International Haiku Day! As many of my readers know, Poesias da Nonô is a space where I have been creating this genre of poetry since December 12, 2015. I leave here a link so that, in case it is your wish, you can read it.

22/03/2023 - At the end of the afternoon it was time for me to dedicate myself to creativity. I sent two poems for a new collection that will be published on 06/11/2023 at the 93rd Lisbon Book Fair. This is the collection Intimista poems on Eroticism and Sensuality coordinated by the poet Ana Acto and will be published by the publisher In-Finita.

INA Course at the Institute for Advanced Military Studies

23 e 24/03/2023 – It was two days of training at the Institute for Higher Military Studies in Algés. One of the things I liked were the beautiful peacocks that you can see wandering around and with spring coming they are in mating season and have beautiful feathers to show off.

By coincidence, the peacock is one of the animals illustrated in my first published book of children's illustrated poetry Poetic Animals “Animais Poéticos”.

The "Nextdoor Neighbor" Theater

25/03/2023 – In the evening it was time to go to the Theater, to see my dear friend Fatima act, in the play "The Neighbor Next Door". The character she plays is a lovely French girl, I simply loved it!

28/03 e 4/04/2023- I attended the fourth and the fifth and last sessions of Corpo d'Escrita | Creative Writing on Feminism(s), at the Galveias Municipal Library. Another meeting for sharing and intergenerational dialogue.

Book Reception - Penguin - International Women's Day

29/03/2023 – The books sent to my house by Penguin, which I told you about in last month's article, an initiative that took place on Avenida da Liberdade as part of International Women's Day, have arrived.

Wild Writing

29/03/2023 – time for another session of Wild Writing. I wrote two new poems and received a nice compliment from one of the participants. I lived it, but I didn't photograph it.

High Performance

31/03 1 e 2/04 /2023 – three days of personal development - Restart - Jorge Coutinho - in the auditorium of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, in Lisbon. An extremely impactful dive. I even managed to break a board with my hand.

Going to the Beach to Read and Write

Assim As soon as the sun came out and the heat was on, I was on my way to the beach to read, write, and savor the latest in ice cream.

Creative Writing - Galveias Library

11/04/2023 – I have started a new Creative Writing course at the Galveias Library in Lisbon.

My sister's birthday

13/04/2023 – My sister blew out her 50 candles. The party took place yesterday 16/04/2023 in Alentejo.

Party for my sister Margarida's 50th birthday and her sister-in-law Ana's 60th birthday.

For today I say goodbye, for now I'm going on a trip. I'll be back in May with fresh news to tell you.
