PT: Olá! Terminamos hoje a nossa série de apresentação de livros. Depois de termos mergulhado em Animais Poéticos, Antologia Poética M.ª Leonor Costa, Poesias Mundanas e O Tempo de um Haiku, é com emoção que te apresento o meu quinto livro publicado.
Este
é o Catarse das Palavras - Volume I, o meu segundo livro bilingue
e o mais recente, publicado no Gumroad no dia 24 de outubro de 2025 (dia
em que se assinala a quinta-feira negra). Este livro inclui poemas de carácter
mais intenso e visceral, sendo um convite a olhar para os desafios do dia a dia
com uma nova perspetiva.

Hoje deixo-te o vídeo de leitura do poema “Quero ir para uma ilha”, que escrevi em 2015 e que me levou a viajar até à Tailândia, às ilhas Phi Phi em 2025.

series today. After diving into Poetic Animals, Poetic Anthology M.ª Leonor Costa, Worldly Poetry, and The Time of a Haiku, it is with emotion that I
present my fifth published book.
This is Catharsis of Words - Volume I, my second bilingual book and the most recent one,
published on Gumroad, on October 24, 2025 (a symbolic dark Thursday for me). This book includes poems of a more intense and visceral nature;
it is an invitation to look at the challenges of daily life from a new
perspective.

Today, I leave you with the video reading of the poem “I want to go to an island”, which I wrote in 2015 and which led me to travel to Thailand, specifically the Phi Phi islands in 2025.

Quero ir para uma ilha
Lembrei-me do Taiti
Vender águas de coco
Para me poder ir embora daqui.
Recordei-me de outro lugar
Qualquer sítio serve
Para sair daqui e ir apanhar ar.
Sonhei depois comigo a dançar
Nas praias de Honolulu
Ia caindo da cadeira quando acordei
Que até dei um pulo.
O meu pensamento foi a seguir
Parar à Jamaica
Que lindas paisagens.
Aí se eu fosse rica.
Imaginei então
As ilhas Phi Phi
Qualquer lugar bonito serve
Desde que seja longe daqui.
Lembrei-me ainda do Havai
Ilhas do Oceano Pacífico
E de muitas outras ilhas desertas
E de sonhar por aqui me fico.

I remembered Tahiti
Sell coconut waters
So I can leave here.
I recalled another place
The island of Madagascar
Anywhere will do
To get out of here and get some air.
Then I dreamt of myself dancing
On the beaches of Honolulu
I almost fell out of my chair when
I woke up I even jumped.
My thoughts then went
To stop in Jamaica
What beautiful landscapes.
Oh, if I were rich.
I then imagined
The Phi Phi islands
Any beautiful place will do
As long as it's far from here.
I still remembered Hawaii
Islands of the Pacific Ocean
And many other desert islands
And I'll just keep dreaming here.
