Childhood Reborn

The parties will end

 

The parties will end

Only kings are missing

They are magicians, they bring gifts.

January's freezing cold follows

That makes you want to hibernate

And grit your teeth.

 

The parties are over

The pine tree, the crib,

And the ornaments, let's save.

It all happened so fast

Santa Claus came down the chimney

I could not hug him.

 

For the year there is more

Other parties will come

Come on do not be sad

I want to see you smile.

 

They are just ornaments

The party goes on

Soon you will be free again

You can go out and play on the street.
