Golden September, delivery of the first donation of "Poetic Animals" and the 92nd Lisbon Book Fair

Hello, today is Thursday, exceptionally we have new article here on the blog because September starts today. This month is, since 1997, dedicated to Childhood Cancer awareness. According to information I have gathered, the choice of gold symbolizes strength, courage, and resilience. For those interested in knowing more and helping I leave here the address of the association Acreditar.

Because Cancer is one of the causes supported by Nonô, namely through the creation of the book “AnimaisPoéticos” ("Poetic Animals"), whose copyright revenue reverts entirely to the association Acreditar, during the month of September, Nonô Poetry adopts an appropriate image for this initiative and awareness action for the world population. 


Delivery of the first donation of "PoeticAnimals" to Acreditar

Last August 30th, the delivery of the first donation of "Animais Poéticos" (“Poetic Animals”) to the association Acreditar was signed. As you may know, my first book was created with a social solidarity purpose. For everyone to see, I reveal here the record of this initiative in which Nonô dressed appropriately for Golden September.

92nd Lisbon Book Fair

On 08/30/ 2022 I also went to visit the Lisbon Book Fair, already in its 92nd edition.

This year I chose not to be there to sign autographs, although I had two invitations to do so. My option was because my most recent book was only published last month on Amazon, and I consider that I need to divulge my work more to those who like it.

Anyway, I bought five books, three of them, in the "happy hour" that happens between 9 and 10 p.m. on weekdays and allows the purchase of books at half price.
