Born in Lisbon, on August 15, 1975, in the beautiful city of Lisbon, at the Hospital de Ordem Terceira de S Francisco da Cidade (Chiado).
Degree in Modern and Contemporary History, variant management of cultural assets, by ISCTE. and Masters in sciences of Documentation and Information, library variant, by the Faculty of Letters of Lisbon.

She regularly participates in public reading events, competitions and has published in more than thirty-six collections and anthologies from various publishers (countless poems, a love letter, and a Christmas tale). This number of publications is steadily increasing, as is the number of contests in which she participates:

Nonô's Books:
1.st “Animais Poéticos” (Poetic Animals) is my first individual book, through Flamingo Editora, with a preface by Luísa Ducla Soares (A renowned Portuguese writer who authors books for children).
2.nd I compiled all the poems included in collections and submitted to competition, in a single book, Antologia Poética M.ª Leonor Costa (Nonô), collection Dispersos, by Editora In-Finita (This book is now available at the National Library of Portugal and at Galveias Library in Lisbon).
