“Tulip” - Worldly poetry – March 2021 - Flower Month

Worldly poetry

Nonô Poems

Painting by my mother

Tulip

Ornamental flower

Each color its meaning

Each stem a closed bud

A turban compared.

Elongated and delicate petals

Netherland’s trademark

Name of a tall glass for beer

When thirst demands.

Originating in China or Turkey

Beauty and sophistication icons

Due to the legend of the Turkish prince Farhad

In red they are symbols of true love and passion

Informed of the death of his beloved Shirin

The prince couldn't take his pain

Rode to the cliff

From every drop of his blood, this flower was born in red.

"Small forget-me-nots" - Childhood Reborn - March 2021 - Flower Month

 Podcast

Childhood Reborn

Small forget-me-nots

Legend has it

That a young knight

To offer you to his beloved

And demonstrate is true love

He fell into the river and drowned.

There's who says

That the tears shed by Mary

Originated your blue color version

You were a symbol of Freemasonry

In micro format like only you.

Fifty varieties

Creeping plant

For you someone drowned in the river

Originating in Russia

You like the cold.

Sincere love icon

A way to say I like you

Please do not forget me

Small forget-me-nots

Even far away, I'm here.

“Orchid“ in Soulmate - March 2021 - Flower Month

 Podcast

Soulmate

Orchid

There is no plant in the world

with so many shapes, sizes and colors

Flower associated with virility

for all the loves.

She spreads a sweet fragrance in the air

From the Greek word “orkhis” her name derives

Symbol of fertility and elegance

The attention of others for her is captivated.

There are twenty five thousand species

and more than a hundred thousand varieties

Just one like you

with your qualities.

Big or small

Charms all over the world

Only our union is worth it

The feeling is deeper.

Painting authored by my mother

Lotus Flower

Symbol of spiritual purity

Body and mind

Blooming on water is divine

In the mud it is born from the seed.

Immersed is attachment

It is linked to carnal desires

Blooms free from ego

It's too beautiful.

Water Flowers

Imbued with many meanings

With fantastic resistances

They are sacred thrones.

White, pink, yellowish

red, blue and purple

Gently scented

They are a lesson that endures.

“Princess earrings“ in Soulmate - March 2021 - Flower Month

 Podcast

Video

Soulmate
Nonô Poetry

Princesse earrings

Princesse earrings

Pending flowers

Known for fuchsia or tear

In double bell format

They deserve our esteem

With two shades of pink and white

Of red sepals

And purple petals

They attract hummingbirds and bees.

You offered me a vase

Filled with these flowers

A sign of your esteem

And your intrinsic values.

 With royalty charm

They are born like us in pairs

These princess earrings

You offered me to love me.
