 We are approaching St. Valentine's Day, when, in Portugal, Valentine's Day is celebrated. Inspired by this event, I wrote this poem, whose theme is part of one of the subjects I have been developing entitled Soulmate.

Peço-te perdão

Pelas expetativas que criei

Sinto dentro uma forte emoção

Assim sei que te libertei.

 

Tiro um peso das minhas costas

Já nada mais lamento

Realidades repostas

Sensação de apaziguamento.

 

O que foi vivido e escrito

Ficou para trás, no passado

O prazo já foi prescrito

E o pensamento ressignificado.

 

Estou em paz

Espero que também me consigas perdoar

Sei bem que és capaz

Sente como assim podes relaxar.

I beg your pardon

For the expectations that I created

I feel a strong emotion inside

So I know I set you free.

 

I take a weight off my back

I regret nothing more

Realities restored

Feeling of appeasement.

 

What was lived and written

Stayed behind, in the past

The deadline has already been prescribed

And thought reframed.

 

I am in peace

I hope you can also forgive me

I know you're capable

Symbol of fertility and elegance

The attention of others for her is captivated.

and more than a hundred thousand varieties

Just one like you

with your qualities.

Big or small

Charms all over the world

Only our union is worth it

The feeling is deeper.

Pending flowers

Known for fuchsia or tear

In double bell format

They deserve our esteem

With two shades of pink and white

Of red sepals

And purple petals

They attract hummingbirds and bees.

You offered me a vase

Filled with these flowers

A sign of your esteem

And your intrinsic values.

 With royalty charm

They are born like us in pairs

These princess earrings

You offered me to love me.
