Poesias Mundanas / Worldly Poetry - Insónia / Insomnia

Insomnia

Insónia

Tic-tac, tic-tac

O relógio está a andar.

Tic-tac, tic-tac

Três da manhã, não são horas de acordar.

Tic-tac, tic-tac

Na cama já não consigo ficar.

Tic-tac, tic-tac

Vou-me levantar.

Uma insónia me deu

De manhã tenho de ir trabalhar.

Saí dos braços de Morfeu

Para a sala fui-me esticar.

O dia amanheceu

O relógio deixou de me incomodar

Vi televisão enquanto me apeteceu

E à mesma hora tive de ir laborar.

Insomnia

Tick-tock, tick-tock

The clock is ticking.

Tick-tock, tick-tock

Three in the morning, it's not time to wake up.

Tick-tock, tick-tock

I can't stay in bed anymore.

Tick-tock, tick-tock

I'm getting up.

An insomnia has given me

In the morning I must go to work

I left of the arms of Morpheus

I went to the living room and stretched.

The day dawned

The clock stopped bothering me

I watched television as long as I felt like it

And at the same hour I had to go to work.
