A estrada da vida
O caminho é sinuoso
Com curvas e contracurvas
Seguido por algumas retas
Longas ou curtas e turvas.
A marcha deve ser a adequada
À irregularidade do caminho
Pavimentado com alcatrão, terra batida ou pedras
Um percurso acompanhado ou sozinho.
Por vezes baldámo-nos nas curvas
Outras ficamos ao “ralenti”
Assim é a estrada da vida
Desde o começo até ao fim.

The road of life
The
road is winding
With twists and turns
Followed
by some straight
Long
or short and turbid.
The
gait must be appropriate
To the
irregularity of the path
Paved
with tar, dirt, or stones
A
route accompanied or alone.
Sometimes
we bounce on curves
At
other times we stay at "idle speed".
This
is the road of life
From the beginning to the
end.
