Adeus Princesa / Goodbye Princess

Princesa

Adeus Princesa
Espero um dia te reencontrar
Foste para junto de Maria
No céu é agora o teu lugar.

Por lá velhos amigos te esperam
Alguns nomes posso te dar
A Matilde, a Pintas e o Valente

Alegremente a brincar
Diz-lhes que vais da minha parte
A elas te poderás juntar.

Também te podia falar do Mitz,
Contudo não é teu de gatos gostar
Tenho lá velhos amigos
Mas penso que estes te vão chegar.

Gostei de te ter conhecido
Foi um privilégio contigo lidar
Acabou-se o teu sofrimento
Agora já podes descansar.

Goodbye Princess
I hope someday I will find you again
You went to be with Maria
In heaven now is your place.

There old friends await you
Some names I can give you
Matilde, Pintas and Valente
Are rodents you can look for.

There are also Patapouf and Gioconda
Happily playing
Tell them you're going from me
To them you'll be able to join.

I could also talk about Mitz,
But is not yours’s to like cats
I have there old friends
But I think these will get you.

I liked to have known you
It was a privilege to deal with you
Your suffering is gone
Now you can rest.
