Hello! Today's article documents Nonô 's inspiration and writing schedule for the month of February 2024.
It was a very intense month, from trips to the movies, storytelling
training, events, meetings, dancing, launches, mismatches, goodbyes and
profound evolution.
05/02/2024 - Since the place where she usually works is also linked to
the area of communication, Nonô had the opportunity to attend training in
Storytelling at the Lisbon Digital School.
06/02/2024 - as in the previous month, Nonô, in her more entrepreneurial
spirit, decided to give copies of two of her books, "Poetic Animals" and her anthology included in the
"dispersos" collection, to the Lisbon Municipal Library so that they
could be included in the online catalog and thus be available to more readers.
On the same day, she also took the opportunity to attend another session
of her writing group and develop her literary creativity a little more, which
will be very useful for her next book "Diary of a Journey to China".
06/02/2024 - We learned that "Hello Poetry 3" - from NotagPublishing, an anthology that includes three of Nonô 's poems (Titles: "Come back when
your lenses allow you to see who I am"; "Let me visit my
shadows"; "The poet's word") is now available.
10/02/2024 - Nonô attended an event on Emotional
Intelligence from theory to practice at Fórum Lisboa, hosted by Paulo Moreira
and with several well-known guests: Ana Moniz, Fábio Borges, Jorge Coutinho,
Alexandre Monteiro, Nuno Pavão Nunes from Up Mind Academy.
The most unusual thing that happened at this event was that Nonô went alone
but had the privilege of having lunch in the company of 28 people at a nearby
restaurant. Things that happen to those who are open to meeting people.
Even though this isn't an event in the field of writing, the truth is
that attending this kind of initiative has a direct impact on the vocabulary
and knowledge of those who attend.
Nonô didn't dress up this year. So, there are no carnival photos.
14/02/2024 - Valentine's Day was celebrated with a special dinner.
15/02/2024 - Nonô went to the cultural space at El Corte
Inglês where she attended another Poem(ar) Consigo cycle: "Camões e outros
Contemporâneos" (Camões and other Contemporaries), hosted by José Anjos
and with his guests Ana Zanatti & Ana Isabel Dias (harp player). It was
worth going all the way to Lisbon just to attend this event because listening
to the harp and seeing Ana Isabel Dias perform was spectacular and because
listening to poetry is something I enjoy. I also noticed that several poems by
women were read at this event, something that wasn't so noticeable at other
poetry sessions I've attended.
18/02/2024 - Nonô went with a special friend to the launch
session of the IV Volume of the Collection of Love Letters, entitled " Three Quarters of a Love " - by
Editora Chiado Books, at the Hotel Palácio in Estoril.
This anthology includes a poem by Nonô entitled "For my True Love".
19/02/2024 - It was farewell day for one of the girls from our Galveias
Writing Armada, who returned to Brazil.
20/02/2024 - Creative writing session at Galveias, where we had the
privilege of meeting Marina Preguiça Ribeiro and learning a little about how
television scripts are written.
24/02/2024 - Corpo d'Escrita meeting - Creative writing based on
feminist reflections - Title of the session As minhas Marias: Heranças e
Legados, hosted by Adelaide Bernardo from BLX, at the Galveias Municipal
Library. The fortnightly meeting takes place on Saturdays between 10.30am and
12.30pm.
24 and 25/02/2024 - A meeting of a women's mentoring group of which Nonô is a member.
25/02/2024 - Nonô unexpectedly won a sightseeing ticket and
was able to visit Sintra in a very different way.
27/02/2024 - Last afternoon of the advanced Word course.
28/02/2024 - Between 9pm and 10pm Nonô attended the online meeting of the
Women's AM Reading Club this time the book to read was "The Knight in
Rusty Armor" by Robert Fisher.
29/02/2024 - After such an intense month in a leap year, Nonô took advantage of the end of the day to
do the last revision of chapter II of her next travel book "Diary of a Journey to China".
In this first week of April, I've documented the main events Nonô attended during February 2024, and on
April 12 I'll report on the events of March.
The only things missing are the dance dates, the simultaneous
invitations, the morning walks with my cell phone in hand so as not to miss the
ideas that flow when silence takes its place.
I'll be back here on the blog next Friday.
