Childhood Reborn: "I'm a big kid"

This poem was published for the first time on October 7, 2014 and is included in volume I of Nonô's unpublished collection - Childhood Reborn.

Childhood Reborn

I'm a big kid

I'm a big kid

I'm not afraid to admit it

I really enjoy playing

I love everything that makes me laugh.

 

The years passed

I got older of age

I increased the size

But to say that I grew up, this is not true.

 

I really like dolls

I use them in my day-to-day

I make friends with the younger

Because we have enough empathy.

 

Growing and ageing

It is a condition

We can stay forever young

Within the heart.
