De rosto virado para o sol
Fecho os olhos e abro os braços
Respiro fundo enchendo os pulmões de ar
E ao universo envio abraços.
Assim caminho pela manhã
Cumprindo o meu destino
Dando rumo à minha missão
E não perdendo o tino.
Abro os olhos para o mundo
Ergo o olhar para o céu
Prefiro andar de cara destapada
A cobri-la com um véu.
Ainda há vestígios da lua
E de uma noite que há pouco terminou
Encho novamente o peito de ar
Um novo dia agora começou.
Inicio sentada na gare de comboios de Algueirão-Mem-Martins, fim
sentada no comboio com destino a Lisboa

With the face facing the sun
I close my eyes and open my arms
I take a deep breath filling my lungs with air
And to the universe I send hugs.
And so I walk in the morning
Fulfilling my destiny
Giving direction to my mission
And not losing acumen.
I open my eyes to the world
I raise the look to the sky
I'd rather go face uncovered
Then cover it with a veil.
There are still traces of the moon
And a night that just ended
Again I fill the chest of air
A new day just begun.
