A Pandemic Christmas

 Forcibly confined

For our protection.

Reality shatters

It is beyond reason.

 

Between calamities

And emergencies

We are getting homesick

And countless absences.

 

In constant state of alert

Before an invisible enemy

A discomfort that baffles

Any sensitive soul.

 

A different month of December

At least controversial

This year of 2020 is present

A pandemic Christmas.
