EN: Poetry doesn't ask for permission, nor is it meant to soothe: it is a living territory of catharsis, voice, and attitude. I am M.ª Leonor Costa (Nonô) — writer, performer, and creator of Poesias da Nonô. I give body, sound, and presence to spoken word in Portuguese and English, inhabited by heteronyms navigating the visceral, the sacred, and the everyday. Step inside. Read with your body, listen with your skin, and inhabit this space.

Poesias Mundanas / Worldly poetry - Linha do tempo / Timeline

Timeline
Imagem retirada da Internet / Image taken from the Internet
Linha do tempo

Sempre a passar
Passado, presente, futuro
Por vezes no mesmo lugar.

Bebés, crianças, jovens,
Adultos e idosos
Percursos variados
Nem sempre gloriosos.

Linha invisível
Ininterrupta e contínua
Facilmente transponível
Cruzando a minha e a tua.

Em diferentes ritmos
Sempre a decorrer
Do princípio ao fim.
Do (re)nascer ao morrer.

Timeline
Always passing
Past present Future
Sometimes in the same place.

Babies, children, youth,
Adults and the elderly
Varied courses
Not always glorious.

Invisible line
Uninterrupted and continuous
Easily transposable
Crossing mine and yours.

At different rates
Always running
From beginning to end.
Until the (re) birth to death.
