Olá! Sempre escrevi poemas, haikus, contos e outros textos com alma e
intensidade. Nos últimos tempos, descobri uma nova dimensão da poesia: o poder
da voz. Tenho lido os meus poemas em público, muitas vezes com música de fundo,
em cafés culturais, tertúlias e encontros poéticos. Já li a solo… e também em
dueto, partilhando a voz com outros autores — uma experiência que adorava
repetir mais vezes. Já tive o privilégio de partilhar a minha voz em dezenas de
leituras públicas — cada uma com a sua energia, cada uma com o seu público, e
todas com um ponto comum: a entrega. Ainda estou a aprender a soltar-me, a
respirar entre os versos e a dar a cada leitura a emoção certa. Quero continuar
a crescer como intérprete da minha própria escrita — e também como parceira de
leitura, seja em dueto ou acompanhada por música, porque há algo de mágico em
ler a pares, em sintonia e cumplicidade.
EN: Hello! I have
always written poems, haikus, short stories, and other texts with soul and
intensity. Lately, I've discovered a new dimension of poetry: the power of the
voice. I've been reading my poems in public, often with background music, in
cultural cafes, poetry circles, and literary meetings. I've read solo... and
also in a duet, sharing my voice with other authors — an experience I'd love to
repeat more often. I've had the privilege of sharing my voice in dozens of
public readings — each with its own energy, each with its own audience, and all
sharing a common point: dedication. I am still learning to let go, to breathe
between verses, and to give each reading the right emotion. I want to continue
growing as an interpreter of my own writing — and also as a reading partner,
whether in a duet or accompanied by music, because there is something magical
about reading in pairs, in tune and complicity.

Cada palavra, quando dita, vibra de forma diferente. Há uma força invisível
quando partilhamos o que sentimos com quem também sente. Uma das leituras que
mais me marcou aconteceu no evento da Adega Lê Bem. Estava nervosa, como sempre
fico antes de subir ao “palco” – mesmo que seja apenas uma sala pequena, com
gente que sorri e que conheço. Os poemas escolhidos foram dois do meu primeiro
livro publicado, Animais Poéticos — “Gaivotas em Terra” e “Pomba Branca”. E ali, naquele instante, senti que a poesia não era só minha: era de
todos.
EN: Each word, when
spoken, vibrates differently. There is an invisible force when we share what we
feel with those who also feel it. One of the readings that touched me the most
happened at the Adega Lê Bem event. I was nervous, as I always am before stepping
onto the "stage" — even if it's just a small room, with people who
smile and whom I know. The chosen poems were two from my first published book, Animais
Poéticos — "Gaivotas em Terra" and "Pomba Branca". And
right there, in that instant, I felt that the poetry wasn't just mine: it
belonged to everyone.

Ouvi risos. No final, vieram dizer-me que aqueles poemas pareciam ter sido
escritos para eles. E talvez tenham sido mesmo. Porque quando escrevemos de
dentro, tocamos o outro por dentro também. Participar em tertúlias e encontros
poéticos tem sido uma das grandes conquistas dos últimos tempos. Porque exige
coragem. Exige presença. Exige verdade. E oferece conexão, empatia e aquele
calor que só as palavras conseguem acender.
EN: I heard laughter. In the end, people came to tell me that those poems seemed to have been written for them. And maybe they were. Because when we write from within, we touch others from within as well. Participating in poetry circles and gatherings has been one of the great achievements of recent times. Because it requires courage. It requires presence. It requires truth. And it offers connection, empathy, and that warmth that only words can ignite.
