PT: Olá,
queridos leitores!
pessoal. Foi uma experiência profundamente libertadora. A cada passo, deixava
para trás pesos antigos e reencontrava o silêncio interior.
EN: Hello, dear readers!
Between April 22 and May 1, 2023, I
fulfilled one of the greatest dreams of my life: I walked the Central
Portuguese Way of St. James, from Porto to the imposing Cathedral of Santiago
de Compostela.
I joined a group of pilgrims, but
deep inside, I walked a very personal path. It was a profoundly liberating
experience. With every step, I left behind old weights and rediscovered my
inner silence.
PT:
Foi
EN: It was during this journey that I managed to organize
my thoughts, regain my strength, and strengthen the connection with my most
spiritual side. Contact with nature, unexpected encounters, the signs that the
path offers us — everything contributed to a true inner rebirth.
PT:
No
EN: In the end, at the pilgrim's mass, when the incense
rose through the stone skies of that centuries-old cathedral, I wept
uncontrollably. It was a cry of liberation, healing, and gratitude. I left
behind much of what no longer served me. I left feeling lighter.
✨ The Camino taught
me that, sometimes, one must get lost to find oneself again.

PT:
O
caminho faz-se caminhando,
há
sinais por todo o lugar,
num
passo lento e constante,
descubro-me
sem me procurar.
“Ultreia”
- mais longe, segue em frente,
“Suseia”
- mais alto, sobe a alma.
O
corpo cansa, mas o espírito
renasce
em silêncio e calma.
É
uma viagem por dentro,
um
diálogo que se ilumina,
com
a brisa como companhia
e
a fé que se adivinha.
No
trilho cruzo outros rostos,
partilhamos
o mesmo chão.
Cada
um leva a sua história,
mas
o destino é comunhão.
📝 Poem: ✨ Camino de Santiago
EN: The path is made by walking,
there are signs all around,
in a slow and steady pace,
I discover myself without searching.
"Ultreia" - further, move
ahead,
"Suseia" - higher, let the
soul rise.
The body tires, but the spirit
is reborn in silence and calm.
It is a journey within,
a dialogue that illuminates,
with the breeze as company
and faith to be divined.
On the trail I cross other faces,
we share the same ground.
Each carries their own story,
but the destination is communion.
