Hello, dear reader!
On
August 10th, I will celebrate 9 years since I bought my house — a milestone
that reminds me how much I've grown and everything I've lived through since
then. Since February 2018, I embraced a challenging and transformative stage:
living alone. It was in that silence full of possibilities that I found myself
again.

minha. E ao mesmo tempo… liberdade. Aprendi a escutar-me melhor, a dar valor às
rotinas que me sustentam, aos gestos que me confortam, aos momentos que me
fortalecem.
EN: Caring for
myself, the house, the bills, the schedules — everything was my responsibility.
And at the same time… freedom. I learned to listen to myself better, to value
the routines that sustain me, the gestures that comfort me, the moments that
strengthen me. There were nights when the silence weighed heavily, and others
where I lulled myself in it. I discovered that being by yourself is not the
same as being lonely. It is
being whole.

(As minhas
Gatas)
EN: This
achievement is not just practical — it is emotional, it is spiritual, it is
deeply personal. I lived through difficult days, but I also celebrated small
victories: assembling a piece of furniture, paying a bill with my own effort,
caring for myself with pampering and presence. Today, I know I can count on
myself. And that is worth gold. (My Cats)

📝 Poema / Poem: ✨ Morar em
solitude / Living in Solitude
📝 PT: Poema:✨ Morar em solitude
Fechei
a porta. Dei dois passos.
Ouvi
o eco — e o eco era meu.
A
mim, aprendi a dar abraços,
pois
no silêncio… só resto eu.
Na
sala, as gatas dormiam
como
se tudo estivesse certo.
O
mundo lá fora corria,
mas
aqui dentro, tudo estava em aberto.
O
tempo andava descalço.
Não
havia vozes, nem planos a dois.
Só
o som do meu corpo,
a
Organizei
o dia. Cuidei das contas.
Decidi
a hora do jantar. Ou não jantar.
Levei
o lixo à rua, substituí a lâmpada,
respondi
aos silêncios… e aos pesares por encarar.
As
gatas seguiam-me os passos,
com
a liberdade calma de quem não exige.
Houve
Viver
sozinha é viver inteira —
e
hoje sei que comigo posso contar.
Isso
vale mais do que qualquer promessa,
vale
mais do que silêncio mal-acompanhado,
vale
mais do que um meio amor…
isso
é solitude. É amor de ouro banhado.
Vivi
sozinha e cuidei de mim com autonomia,
porque
muito me fizeram sofrer.
No
início não foi escolha.
Mas acabei por me escolher.
EN: (Poetic
Translation)
I
closed the door. I took two steps.
I
heard the echo — and the echo was mine.
I
learned to embrace myself,
for
in the silence… only I remain.
In
the living room, the cats slept
as
if everything were right.
The
world outside rushed by,
but
in here, everything was wide open.
Time
walked barefoot.
There
were no voices, no plans for two.
Only
the sound of my body,
relearning
the now… and what remains for later.
I
organized the day. I took care of the bills.
I
decided when to have dinner. Or not have dinner.
I
took the trash out, replaced the lightbulb,
answered
the silences… and the sorrows to face.
The
cats followed my steps,
with
the calm freedom of those who demand nothing.
There
were nights when I cried softly,
with
a pain that still afflicts me.
But
there were mornings when the sun touched me
as
if it said: you did well to stay.
Living
alone is living whole —
and
today I know I can count on myself.
That
is worth more than any promise,
worth
more than poorly accompanied silence,
worth
more than a half-love…
this
is solitude. It is gold-plated love.
I
lived alone and cared for myself with autonomy,
because
they made me suffer so much.
At
first it wasn't a choice.
But
in the end, I chose myself.
