Hoje marquei um compromisso especial comigo mesma: desligar do mundo digital para me voltar a ligar ao essencial. O telemóvel vai estar em silêncio absoluto ⛔📱— não vale a pena telefonarem, o número está fora de serviço por 24 horas… e está tudo bem.

Este gesto não é rebeldia, é autocuidado. Não quero chegar aos 50 sem me lembrar de como era viver sem tantos estímulos, notificações ou ecrãs a chamar por mim. Quero saborear o tempo com presença.

As publicações que vês nas redes sociais foram agendadas previamente — hoje não estou online 🚫💻. Estarei a caminhar, a cuidar de mim, a fazer trabalhos manuais, a mimar a minha casa, a brincar com as minhas gatas e a escutar o silêncio. A única exceção será a televisão… mas só para me embalar com música de fundo.

Simples assim. Um regresso à simplicidade que me fez bem.

This isn’t an act of rebellion; it’s self-care.

I don’t want to reach 50 without remembering what it was like to live without so many distractions, notifications, or screens constantly calling for my attention. I want to savour time with presence.

The posts you see on social media were scheduled in advance — today, I’m not online 🚫💻.

I’ll be walking, taking care of myself, doing crafts, pampering my home, playing with my cats, and listening to the silence.

The only exception will be the television… but only to keep me company with some background music.

Simple as that.

A return to simplicity — and one that feels good.

Desligo o mundo lá fora

Para ouvir o que há cá dentro.

Hoje, o tempo não me foge

Sou eu que entro no tempo.

Sem chamadas nem alertas,

Sem toques a impor urgência,

Há espaço para a pausa

E para escutar a presença.

O dia ganha outra cor,

Há ritmo nos gestos lentos.

E só a música preenche

Os silêncios dos meus momentos.

É quando desligo tudo

Que me sinto mais inteira.

Hoje sou casa habitada,

Hoje sou alma verdadeira.

Today, time doesn’t escape me,

I am the one who steps into time.

No calls and no alerts,

No ringtones demanding urgency,

There is room for a pause

And for listening to presence.

The day takes on a different colour,

There is rhythm in slow gestures.

And only music fills

The silences of my moments.

It is when I switch everything off

That I feel most whole.

Today, I am a home inhabited,

Today, I am a true soul.
