Poesias Mundanas / Worldly Poetry - Um domingo bem passado / A Sunday well spent

Um domingo bem passado

O frio subitamente regressou

E com ele veio a chuva intensa

O corpo descansou e relaxou

Hoje não foi dia para estar tensa.

Deu para realizar algumas compras

E arrumar o necessário

Fazer companhia às gatas

Organizando roupas e acessórios no armário.

Com a televisão ligada

E o computador também

Tranquilamente sentada

Dando asas à imaginação, sabe tão bem.

Cumprido as refeições normais

A Sunday well spent

The cold suddenly returned

And with it came the heavy rain

The body rested and relaxed

Today was not the day to feel tense.

Has given time for some shopping

And to arrange the necessary

Make company to the cats

Organizing clothes and accessories in the closet.

With the television on

And the computer also

Sitting quietly

Letting my imagination run wild, it feels so good.

Fulfilling the normal meals

Exchanging a few chats with the family

Things were not formal

And so, the homily went.

A relaxed evening

Accompanied by a chamomile tea

This is how I end the weekend

Soon my soul is napping.
