Sentada no
banco de jardim
Vendo as
pessoas a passar
Para um lado
ou para o outro
Todos querem
se apreçar.
O ritmo é acelerado
Ninguém fica
no mesmo lugar
Para um
lado ou para o outro
Estão todos
a circular.
Uns sobem,
outros descem
Nem se apercebem
de mim
Ninguém para
a olhar
A menina
sentada no jardim.

Sitting on the bench
in the garden
Watching people go by
To one side or the
other
Everyone wants to
appreciate each other.
The pace is
accelerated
No one stays in the
same place
To one side or the
other
They're all moving.
Some go up, others go
down
They do not even
notice me.
No one to look at
The girl sitting in
the garden.
