A porta se fechou
Pouco importa
Quem saiu ou ficou.
A cada paragem
O comboio se esvazia ou enche
Pessoas em movimento
Que o percurso preenche.
Vai e vem constante
A qualquer hora do dia
É permanente a azafama
Desta correria.
Várias carruagens
Cheias de gente
Quando se ouve o apito
As portas fecham-se de repente

After the intense whistle
The door closed
It does not matter
Who left or stayed.
Every stop
The train empties or fills up
People on the move
That the course fills.
It comes and goes constant
Anytime of day
It is permanent the hustle and bustle
Of this rush.
Several coaches
Full of people
When you hear the whistle
The doors suddenly close.
