Tenho quem me
indique o caminho
Como se fosse
o seu.
Tenho um pai! Com
a sua vibração
Que reconhece
que também erra.
Tenho Deus,
neste mundo vil,
Em alguém que
vive na sua própria Terra.
Tenho um Pai!
Para os bons
E maus
momentos da vida
Sei que mesmo
falhando
Nunca serei
esquecida.
Sendo a filha
menor
Num mundo cada
vez mais desorganizado
Sei que um pai
Perdoa até ao
mais desgraçado.
Tenho um pai! Sou
o seu orgulho
O seu bem-querer,
Um apreço que
não cabe
Num amplo
coração de mulher!
Carrego comigo
Um coração
leal,
Muitas vezes
desiludido
Por sonhar um
mundo ideal.

um Pai! É ter na vida
Uma
luz por entre escolhos;

ter dois olhos no mundo
Que
vêem plos nossos olhos!
Ter
um Pai! Um coração
Que
apenas amor encerra,
É
ver Deus, no mundo vil,
É
ter os céus cá na terra!
Ter
um Pai! Nunca se perde
Aquela
santa afeição,
Sempre
a mesma, quer o filho
Seja
um santo ou um ladrão;
Talvez
maior, sendo infame
O
filho que é desprezado
Pelo
mundo; pois um Pai
Perdoa
ao mais desgraçado!

coração que lhe quer

orgulho que não cabe

I have a father! That one
That this life has given me;
I have someone to show me the way
Like it was yours.

I know that even failing

Have a Father! And to have in life
A light through the rocks;
It is to have two eyes in the world
That they see through our eyes!
Have a Father! A heart
That only love ends,
It is to see God, in the vile world,
It is to have the heavens here on earth!
Have a Father! Never lost
That holy affection,
Always the same, either the son
Be a saint or a thief;
Maybe bigger, being infamous
The son who is despised
Through the world; because a father
Forgive the most miserable!
Have a Father! A holy pride
For the heart that wants you
A pride that does not fit
In a woman's heart!
Although it is immense
Vogando by the ideal,
The heart you gave me
O good father, he is loyal!
