EN: Poetry doesn't ask for permission, nor is it meant to soothe: it is a living territory of catharsis, voice, and attitude. I am M.ª Leonor Costa (Nonô) — writer, performer, and creator of Poesias da Nonô. I give body, sound, and presence to spoken word in Portuguese and English, inhabited by heteronyms navigating the visceral, the sacred, and the everyday. Step inside. Read with your body, listen with your skin, and inhabit this space.

Por algum motivo
Passei por aqui
Galguei uma grande montanha
Aprendi, cresci, endureci…

Em cada instante
Entre o bem e o mal
Nada é incorreto
É desenvolvimento pessoal.

Sofrimentos sublimados
Momentos de alegria
Olhos enxugados
Sorriso de magia.

Sonhos desfeitos
Novas realidades
Percursos que fazemos
Nas nossas moralidades.

Tudo tem uma razão
Oferenda do universo
Bênçãos e provações
Com um pretexto submerso.

Comboio (Cacém)
Poema manuscrito,

For some reason
I passed by here
I climbed a great mountain
I learned, grew, hardened ...

At every moment
Between good and evil
Nothing is wrong
It is personal development.

Sublimated sufferings
Moments of joy
Dried eyes
Magic smile.

Broken dreams
New Realities
Courses we do
In our morals.

Everything has a reason
Offering of the universe
Blessings and trials
With a submerged pretext.

Train (Cacém)
Handwritten poem,
