Quatrocentos
e setenta e oito dias
antes de
eu nascer houve uma revolução
nascida na
“liberdade”
Do pós
Abril é a minha geração.
Muitas
coisas melhoraram
Outras geraram
indignação
Contudo à
luz do tempo
A democracia
é sempre a melhor opção.
Um cravo
na lapela
Sem armas
na mão
Hoje vivemos
num país bem diferente
Nesta ensolarada
nação.
Portugal
tem futuro
Gente boa
com imaginação
Viva a
liberdade!
Viva a
Revolução!
Sentada à secretária, no meu quarto, em casa dos meus pais
Escrito a
computador

Four hundred and seventy-eight days
Before i was born there was a revolution
Born in "freedom"
The post-april is my generation.
Many things have improved
Others have generated outrage
However in the light of time
Democracy is always the best option.
A clove in the lapel
No weapons in hand
Today we live in a very different country.
In this sunny nation.
Portugal has a future.
Good people with imagination
Long live freedom!
Long live the Revolution!
Sitting at my desk in
my room at my parents' house.
