Da que me atrevo a escrever
Da que paro para ouvir
Daquela que gosto de ler
E da que, no meu peito, faço
sentir.
Conversemos sobre a harmonia.
Do som que das palavras emana
Que uma mente pensante reuniu
Como só faz quem ama
Ou como sente uma mãe que um
filho pariu.
Dialoguemos sobre a melodia.
Que resulta da combinação de
versos
Como se de música estivéssemos
a falar
Uma disposição de pensamentos
diversos
Que em poemas se conseguem
organizar!
Debatamos o papel da
inspiração.
Da importância de uma musa
Sobre os fatores necessários
para criar
Ajuda ter uma alma lusa
Mas o fundamental é sentir e
pensar.
Podemos terminar esta reflexão
Libertando o poeta de regras ou
convenções
O ato de criar deve ser
inteiramente liberto
São da sua inteira
responsabilidade as suas criações
E devem ser feitas de coração
aberto.

feel in my heart.

harmony.

put together
As only those who
love do
Or as a mother who
gives birth to a child feels.
Let's talk about
melody.
Which results from
the combination of verses
As if we were
talking about music
An arrangement of
diverse thoughts
That can be
organized into poems!
Let's discuss the
role of inspiration.
About the importance
of a muse
About the factors
necessary to create
It helps to have a
Portuguese soul
But the fundamental
is to feel and think.
We can end this
reflection
Freeing the poet
from rules or conventions
The act of creating
must be entirely free
