O
dogma da Imaculada Conceição de Maria
é um
dos mais queridos para o povo cristão
Ela é
a rainha de todos os santos, a Mãe de Jesus
Dia
definido em 1854 pelo papa Pio IX e assim começou esta celebração.
Oficialmente
no calendário da Igreja a festa não existia,
Mas já
antes era extensa essa devoção.
Os
bizantinos celebravam-na desde o século VII
Mas
foi João Duns Scoto quem resolveu a questão.
Um
frade franciscano escocês que morreu em 1308
doutor
em teologia chamado de bem-aventurado pelos seus.
Na
linha de pensamento de são Francisco de Assis,
ele
defendeu este dogma como sendo o início do projeto central de Deus.
Foi da
pureza completa da Mãe de Jesus que este dogma nasceu.
O
nascimento do Filho de Deus feito homem para a redenção da humanidade.
A
festa acabou sendo incluída no calendário romano em 1476.
Em
1570, pelo papa Pio V foi confirmada e formalizada, e, finalmente, no século
XVIII, o papa Clemente XI tornou-a obrigatória a toda a cristandade.

The dogma
of the Immaculate Conception of Mary
is one
of the dearest to the Christian
people
She is
the queen of all saints, the Mother of Jesus
